I was in Anchorage recently doing three events (twice telling Dad's 1943 story which is always well received). While there someone told me that the FAA Western Region was very involved in supporting the FAA recovery activities after the 1964 Alaska earthquake......and that Dad had gone there to observe and be in support of his folks......Is there any articles or other confirmation of this?, or do any of the retirees from that era have matching memories?
