Walt Luffsey was/is a legend at FAA having been Associate for Flight Standards and Associate for Air Traffic and one of those guys who flew the Hangar 6 fleet [ but he loved the DC-3 because there was more room for his girth]. He is quite sick in Florida and can benefit from all of our prayers. They have taking him off life support – still medicating for pain to make him comfortable.
