John is home and is happy. However His Pain Is Severe And difficult To manage. Based upon all of the information he has now been admitted to the Hospice program. They are better able to the handle pain management. Increasing his pain medications has a downside but we cannot let him suffer. The cancer is in his entire skeleton and brain. He is able to talk but the conversations are often challenging because sometimes he does not use the right words.

He knows who people are and is happy to see them but for some reason he has fallen in love with the name Mary. So I am Mary. But that is OK. He had a great visit with his Mom yesterday and that was a gift.

The Hospice staff gave me a gut punch after their assessment when they said days to weeks.

We were visited by 2 Nurses and Physician, social worker, aide and today will be the chaplain.

Daunting to say the least.

Love you all..
